Dr Gregg Farmer
Dr. Gregg Farmer grew up in Savannah Georgia and attended theUniversity of Georgia where he received his bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1984 and his bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1986. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1990 from the Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine. His special interest in orthopedics, dentistry, and internal medicine. Dr Farmer has two sons Anthony and Alexander. Over the last 25 years I have been very blessed to have a great practice with wonderful clients and we welcome you to join our practice and become part of our family.
Dr Loretta Farmer
Dr. Loretta Farmer completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in the field of Bio Medical Science. She graduated from Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991, and has been in private practice for over 20 years. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. Dr Farmer and her husband Gregg, have two sons, Anthony and Alexander plus their furry family member Chewy. “I cherish the opportunity to spend time with my clients and get to know their four-legged children. I feel so fortunate to have been given the chance to do something that I am passionate about. We welcome you to come in and give us the opportunity to be a part of your family.”
Claudia has been with us since October 2008. Claudia says her favorite part of the job is going home at night knowing that she helped to save the life of a sick or injured pet. She finds her work extremely rewarding. In her spare time Claudia enjoys running and reading. She is the owner of a Shepherd mix named Rocky, a Shi-Tzu named Duke, a Yorkie mix named Emma, and a beautiful Siamese named Smudge.
Leonor moved from Florida back in 2009. She hopes that one day she can return to school and become a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She loves watching sports. Her favorite college team is the Florida Gators. She likes going out with her friends and playing sports like volleyball. The one thing that pushes her to become someone better in life is her family that she would do anything for. Her pets are Pancho, Toby,and Gia.
Robyn has been managing this hospital since 1996. She is a licensed veterinary technician with over 30 year’s experience. Her favorite part of the job is helping educate clients on how to keep their pets happy and healthy for years to come. She has a full house with dogs, cats, horses, ferrets, and many various wild animals at any given time. Is the mom of two great kids, Adam and April. She volunteers helping with a local wildlife rescue group and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Michael has worked and grown up with all sorts of animals, especially large animals. He wishes to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Michael was born and raised in the Elgin area, and LOVES the Texas outdoors! He has one baby at home Ariel, a Pembroke corgi. He believes there is no greater joy than the connection that is created from the unconditional love from our four legged companions. “A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.” – Josh Billings
Megan is our transplant from Montana. She came to Austin 5 years ago with her boyfriend and dogs Odin and Boon. In 2013 Megan graduated second best in class from the Academy of Animal Control Officers. Since then she has been working in the animal medical field. She continues this with our practice to pursue her passion helping animals.
